Background

My name is Alfred. I have been exploring Unix systems since I was 16 years old. Now, over 20 years later, my passion for Unix systems and networking remains unwavering. I have a deep passion for cloud systems, Linux, *BSD, and containerization. In recent years, I have been working extensively with Kubernetes, both in the cloud and self-hosted environments. It has become my deployment platform of choice due to its elegance when implemented properly.

KubeStation

The domain name KubeStation.com stems from its connection to Kubernetes. In the Kubernetes ecosystem, it’s common for tools to start with the prefix kube. When I hear the word kube, I think of cloud-native applications running on a container orchestration platform. KubeStation is the perfect place for me to share my knowledge, tips, and tricks, including detailed tutorials, best practices, and insights into the latest developments in the cloud-native space.

Experience

I have extensive experience in system administration and software engineering. Since 2014, I have been the CTO of my own startup, Nanitor. This role has allowed me to apply my skills to develop and implement a widely used solution, of which I am proud.
